An experiential street activation designed to spark connection, encourage conversation, and create meaningful community engagement during Toronto Tech Week.

02 / The build

Sometimes the simplest ideas create the biggest impact.

During Toronto Tech Week, we partnered with General Magic to bring complimentary soft serve to the streets of Toronto. While the ice cream drew people in, the true purpose of the activation went far beyond the treat itself. The goal was to create a reason for people to pause, connect, and engage with one another in an organic and memorable way.

Throughout the day, founders, operators, creatives, tech professionals, and curious passersby gathered around the cart. What began as a quick stop for soft serve quickly turned into meaningful conversations, new introductions, and unexpected connections. This is the power of experiential marketing when executed with intention. It is not simply about giving something away. It is about creating moments that foster connection, build community, and leave a lasting impression.
